Other Trips & Hobbies
A perpetually bad left elbow has somewhat sidelined me from climbing activities.  Additionally, I have grown a bit bored with hiking Colorado peaks.  Since I need something to do at all times I've decided to pick up new hobbies to keep me interested.  I have started a small new page covering some of these hobbies and will expand it as time permits. May, 2009

Mountain Biking

I presently own a Specialized Stumpjumper Pro M2 1998 and a Haro Xeon S LT 2008.  The first bike is a hardtail used for faster riding on and off road and the second bike is a full suspension, all mountain bike used for downhill riding.  My wife rides a 199 Klein Pulse Race.

Trails Ridden:
Betasso Trail
Hall Ranch
Heil Ranch
Switzerland Trail
Walker Ranch

Water Sports

Kayaks I presently own are: a  tandem Zoik and a solo Zoik.  These are 1000 count pvc/denier inflatable kayaks which are easily suited to multi day trips and class 4 whitewater.

River Runs:
Pumphouse to Lyons: (Colorado River) May, 2009 - James West, Brian Hynek, & Dave Pneuman.
South Boulder Creek: Arapahoe and Canyon to 35ht and Arapahoe, Boulder
South Boulder Creek: class 2+/3- stretch near Moffat Tunnel

Kite Sports

I presently own a 2 square meter HQ Beamer III and a 4.5 square meter Ozone Cult.  If all goes well I plan on trying kite skiing this upcoming winter out at Dillon Resevoir in Colorado.
